I'm in the market to buy my first UPS and I am having trouble finding reviews.

Can anyone feed me some info?

TY.

Stick with name brands, APC, Belkin, Cyberpower are the popular ones on newegg. I don't know of any sites that specifically cater to UPS reviews, but the [h] can help you out with selection if we know your loads/needs :)

Also look at Tripp-Lite.

Stick to the popular brands and make sure it has the wattage you need. A UPS is meant to keep your system running so you can save your work and shut down, even if it's for five or ten minutes.

Also look into a UPS with voltage regulation/stabilization.

Try to avoid off-line solutions and go for Line-interactive with voltage regulation they should be similarly priced at low power ratings.

Oh and remember UPS is rated in VA which usually need to be multiplied by 0.6 or 0.7 to get power in watts they can supply.

Also be sure to read any small text attached to UPS backup times :D I have seen some pretty funny tricks with it.
