I've got a question regarding my UPS + PC setup that I was hoping that someone might be able to help me out with...
I've currently got a PC running off a Cyberpower UPS. Like most UPS, its got some outlets that battery + surge protection and other outlets that are surge protection only. This works fine for my current PC and supplies all the juice that my current setup needs if the power drops.
However....I will be adding a second machine into this area of the room and I'm out of outlets.
If I purchase a second UPS for the new machine, can I plug the 2nd UPS into a "Surge Protection Only" outlet of the first UPS?
This way, the first UPS plugs into the wall and the first PC plugs into the battery + surge protection outlets of that UPS. Then the second UPS plugs into a surge protection only outlet (So it doesn't drain the battery at all) of the first UPS, and the second PC then plugs into the battery + surge protection outlets of the second UPS.
That sounds awful confusing but hopefully it makes sense.
Thanks!
