UPS Makes PSU Buzz?

Wel I finally got myself a UPS Battery Backup. Have sold them to customers for years but never actually gotten one for myself as my house power is very reliable, but still, I thought it would be good for doing bios upgrades/etc. and just to have as protection.

My question though is this, I run the rig in my sig with a Corsair 620HX PSU. It is just like normal when the UPS is running through the line current, but when the UPS goes on battery, the Corsair PSU makes a buzzing noise.

I know it is not underpowered as it is a Cyberpower 1500va 900watt UPS and looking on the load of it I am only using like 200watts ( Confirming people over buy PSUs as that is with 2 monitors and some other stuff:p )

So is this normal? Can anyone else comment that uses a UPS with a corsair or seasonic PSU? I have run APC UPSs and Cyberpower UPSs before and never heard of a PSU buzzing, but I have never tried one of these Corsair units on a UPS before so I cannot speak from experience with that.

Instructions to fix:

1) open trashcan

2) put Cyberpower UPS into trashcan

3) close trashcan

And yes, I had one, and yes it killed hardware (by powering up and down during malfunction at such a high rate that it killed hardware).

Are you sure it is the PSU and not the UPS?

LOL seriously thats what i was thinking. My UPS made the same noise in battery mode. Kind of like a humming. Its normal from what i recall! ;)

Ya, I know UPS humm, like i said i have used many for others.

The UPS is under my desk though and the PC on top, so I am sure it is the PSU in the PC (and I can hear it is coming from the PSU and not something else in the PC).

This is kinda odd to me as Cyberpower has gotten great reviews and even makes some products for APC (some of the smaller capacity UPS products).

Anyone know why it would be doing this, or why the PSU would be buzzing? I have checked my voltages on the PC and they do not move at all when it is under UPS power, not to mention my monitors do not even flicker or dim... Very odd to say the least.

You would need an oscilloscope to see the fluctuations, no way you can see them on a voltmeter.
