Intel P4 2.8C, oc'd to 3.36 on Zalman HSF
9800 All in Wonder Pro
Soundblaster Audigy 2
Antec Case, came with Antec 350W PSU model:SL350
1GB Corsair Platnium Series XMS3500
Seagate 200GB IDE Hard drive

Things I will surely keep:
Sony 16X DVD ROM
NEC 16X DVD burner
Floppy
17" Hitachi LCD model: CML174SXW B 1280x1024 16ms
speakers, keyboard, mouse

I'm thinking about watercooling, maybe with the Koolance EXOS, and getting a new PSU. I really want a very quiet system, currently mine is very loud, hate it. I'd like to watercool the CPU, NB and GPU, (NB Fans on abit IC7 series are TERRIBLE)
OR, should I just sell my system, and use that money +1000 to get a new one? Because I'd like to upgrade my videocard (to an x850AGP), but I've only got AGP, and I won't be able to upgrade my CPU later and keep my new x850 AGP videocard because the best Mobo's would be dual PCI-E?

How much do you think I could get for my current system? Would I get more value if I sold it as a whole, with every component? LCD and everything?

My idea for spending 1K (maybe less, less would be nice, but im willing)
New Videocard
Watercooling, CPU NB and GPU
New PSU, quiet but very stable

you don't really need to go WC to have a silent rig... all you need is a quiet PSU (preferably with 120mm or 140mm fan) and XP-120 heatsink... a friend of mine has a setup like that and runs 3.2 Prescott at 4 GHz and the it's absolutely silent...

Dunno about silent stuff or WC, but a new video card would let you see a difference in game speed. You'd probably be able to bump up your resolution and AA/AF and still have faster framerates. I know I went from a 9800 Pro to a 6800U and have been very happy... ;)

Also, if you're mostly into gaming, you might consider going with an AMD64 mobo and CPU. A good board and a A64 3500+ would run you around $450 or less, plus you'd still have money left for a video card upgrade and possibly a PSU or WC setup.

If I did get an AMD, and a new mobo, will my RAM be good enough to get a decent overclock? Also what AMD64mobo is best for overclocking and gaming? I do quite a bit of photoshopin' too, but Im waaaay more concerned with gaming performance.

Id also like to be able to upgrade the AMD3500+ at a later date, but I've heard that AMD's upcoming processors are compatible with their older boards? Is this true?

Thanks for the replys too guys.
