Lets see here, I'm on dialup and I now have a finished unit that is sitting around not being uploaded. EMIII says that it is "waiting in queue". Does that mean that it is going to automatically upload? I don't want to miss the deadline and lost all that work. If it's pertinent, I run the command line version and I chose the "ask before connecting" option. Thanks for your help.

Have you gotten a prompt box saying "Ready to Netowrk" or something to that effect? It is a tiny little box; should be popping up in the middle of your screen. Until that happens, it isn't ready to go. When it does, click on OK and wait. It should take about 12 minutes to upload an average WU.

If it has basically stored that work unit and is now working on another, all is not lost. If you are running the Text Console, you can run the following:

fah502-console -send all

Of course, if you have changed your .exe filename, substitute the new name, otherwise it should work.

I was just wondering if you selected something to the effect of "send and receive work in batches to minimize networking". That may be why it didn't automatically go when it was done.

I always had problems with WinXP and F@H and Seti@home (when I used to do that) trying to connect to the net... I never figured out exactly what changed, but they'd suddenly stop dialing out on their own... nothing a format and reinstall wouldn't fix... but that's a huge burden.... now I have cable, no problems at all :D

Keep on Folding!!
