Uplinking BEFSR41 Routers

My question is, do you *have* to use a crossover cable in order to uplink to another router?

I don't exactly have patch cable that long and I need to put the second router in my room (the first is in the basement) and the only cable I have running up here is the Cat5 I am on right now.

I dont think so. I've got a BEFW11S4 uplinked into my BEFSR41 using a normal patch cable, and its working ok for both the wireless and wired users.
