Uplay and a Re-install

I have to do a re-install of windows 8 now that a BIOS is available for my video card to allow for ultra fast boot, steam I have down no big deal, but Uplay.... can I just copy everything over like you do steam install uplay then copy my stuff back over top? Or do I have to re-install the two games I have in it (far cry 3 and assasins creed 3) and then allow it to do the ton of patches and updates all over again?

AC3 and FC3 are both installed like any normal Windows application so you will likely need to reinstall them.
