So, im currently using a pair of Sony MDR-V600s run through Klipsch ProMedia 4.1s and an Audigy 2 ZS as the source. Im looking to get some HD580s or 600s if i can find/afford them. My question is, will i notice a drastic difference in audio quality/clarity? Anyone know from experience? Thanks for the [H]elp.
 
If it was any other headphones I would ask about your source but the Sony's you mentioned make that irrelevant.
Yes, you will notice a dramatic improvement..... even without a amp. ;)
