hey guys and gals if ther are any in this forum...it's time i retire my Abit VP6 (oh the memories),im just looking for some insight on upgrading.hopefully next weekend. big gamer,web surfer,animationoh and p0rn.what should i get via mobo,cpu,ram,and video?
 
I feel your pain with the Geforce 4200 Ti, i got a gainward one, id recommend a Radeon 9800 pro or XT for a videocard, i had to get mine rma'd for some shitty packaging but they're great
 
I believe you can convert your IDE drives to SATA with the SERILLEL2 SATA Converter, but you'd have to buy another one to set up a RAID, as the board only comes with one converter. I think if you installed two converters then you'd be able to set your RAID up. I could be wrong, but it looks possible.
