Looking to buy a new CPU without worrying about what hardware I have already answer these questions for me plz.

Was there an unlocked version of the 3200+ ?

Will I get better performance from a prelocked barton 2500+ than the new locked barton 2500+.
 
not sure about the unlocked 3200+

but the new barton is 400fsb vs the old one 333 fsb?

the 400 > 333 if u got the supporting hardware.
 
What I was implying about are these pre week 34 processors, are these still able to easily get to 400mhz? and then continue overclocking with multiplier?
