Upgrading Watercooling system, need feedback!

I currently have a Coolmaster Cosmos 1000 series case which houses my Intel Core 2 Quad 2.4 GHz running at 3.4 GHz. I have a eVGA Geforce 8800 GTX KO superclocked on an Asus P5W DH Deluxe motherboard with Mushkin HP2-8500 996578 (2x1GB) ram and at the heart of my PC an Antec 1000 watt power supply. I made some modifications to the case as you will see and managed to house my Thermochill PA160 radiator inside of the case.

My loop currently consists of the following:

Swiftech MCP350 pump
Swiftech Microres
Swiftech Apogee GT CPU block
Aquagrafx 8800 GTX block
Thermochill PA160 radiator with a 120mm shroud
Tube diameter: 1/2" OD, 3/8" ID

In the next 2 weeks I will be picking up the new pieces of my watercooling setup, this is what I have in mind so far:

AlphaCool AGB-Eheim 600 Station II Pump
Hardware Labs Black Ice™ GT Xtreme 120mm Radiator (in addition to my PA160)
Thermochill PA160 Radiator (using my current one)
Swiftech Microres (using my current one)
Danger Den Fill / Drain port
Burkle Flow Indicator
EK Supreme Universal CPU Waterblock
EK-NB/SB ASUS1 Chipset Waterblock (Acetal) x2
EK Asus 3a Mosfet Water Block
EK-FC8800GTX Full Cover Waterblock for nVidia 8800GTX (Nickel Plated)
A-60 Neoprene Tubing with Swiftech Smart coils.

If you can see in my pictures the top of the Cosmos case has 2 120mm exhaust fans which I plan on mounting the Black Ice under.

This will be my second watercooling attempt and after reading the forums a great deal I found that the EK products are pretty much the best but I am still confused as to if all of the products I have listed will work with a 1/2" OD, 3/8" ID configuration. Also I have been using the Swiftech HydrX coolant, but I was wondering if there was anything better that is antibacterial, anticorrosive and coolant in 1.

I was also thinking about putting one of these in my loop - AquaTuning In-Line Coolant Temperature Monitor Coupler 1/4" OD. But I was wondering is there a way to hook up a 1/4" OD into my 1/2" OD, 3/8" ID with an adapter of some sorts. Do you all think that this is worth it or is it more of a novelty?

I would greatly appreciate any help as I want this to be a sick setup.
 
the alphacool station II is actually really good i had one before... however

running 5 blocks and 2 rads in one loop seems a bit too much imo, the temps would be horrible. you should really run a second loop for the gtx as they dump off crazy amounts of heat.
 
You really think that it will be that much of an issue with the heat, especially with a PA160 and a Black Ice GT 120? My current loop setup has the CPU and GPU on the same loop.

But then again I am adding the NB, SB and Mosfet to the loop. I really do want to avoid having multiple loops in my system.
 
in 1 loop that would be a shitload of heat... you gotta remember the water travels quite fast so its gonna have a dificult time cooling off from 5 blocks. i mean yeah by all means do it if thats what you want but i wouldnt personally do it. infact id only do the gtx and quad at the most in a loop, and just air cool the nb and sb with thermaltake spirits or something they work well.
 
Ok, so If I decided to just use my Core 2 Quad and 8800 GTX in the loop would everything else be good?

edit: If I do decide to put 2 loops in my setup, would my old Swiftech MCP 350 pump, Swiftech Microres and another Black Ice GT 120mm radiator do the trick for the NB, SB and Mosfets? Also would the Alphacool, PA160 radiator, Black Ice GT 120mm radiator and Swiftech micro res be sufficient for the CPU and GPU in it's own loop?

id say so, if you really wanted to use the chipset blocks ive seen someone use one of those 5.25 bay res with mini pump built in by xspc on a seperate loop, just added a rad to it and was sweet.
 
Problem with that is I no longer have space in my 5.25 bays due to the way I internally mounted my PA160 radiator. Take a look at the pictures and you will see my problem :)

lol holy shit it looks like my dinner bowl of spaghetti up in there:p

i would really just air-cool the nb and sb chips but if you have to have them watercooled then add them to the loop but i think it would hurt the temps a fair bit.
 
Hey ohms, I'm planning a similar build to the one you had before, with a PA160 rad cooling CPU and a 8800GTX.

What temperatures did/do you see with that setup?
