Upgrading to SSD - need help

Ok so I just received 2 used OCZ Vertex 2 120g SSDs. I know they are old and outdate but I got a real good deal on them and cant afford the new stuff. I am attempting to install them in raid 0 for my boot drive and my games. I have completed the raid, the install of windows 7 and what not but for some reason it is showing I only have 148g of space on the raid. Is this normal?
 
240GB - 148GB = 92GB

How big is your pagefile? If you're going by the outdated tradition of 2.5 times your RAM, you've allotted far too much. You can reduce it to 500MB.

Have you turned off hibernation?

Looking at this review of the Vertex 2E, I'm wondering if you don't actually have a pair of Vertex 2 100GB drives:

"The contentious SandForce over-provisioning of the Vertex 2 (and all 100GB SandForce drives) has been cut from 35GB to 15GB for the Vertex 2E, resulting in a formatted capacity of 111.69GB (remember that SSD NAND capacity is expressed in binary, with 128GB of NAND packing 137,438,953,472 bytes of data). Sadly it appears as though those that bought the early 100GB Vertex 2 models are stuck with the smaller capacity though, with no sign of any update tool to adjust the drive’s level of over-provisioning."

They are vertex 2 120g. Dont have a box or nothing but on the back of the drive it says Vertex 2 120. I installed them before using them for my boot drive and check them and they both had something like 119g available space.

I dont know how to turn off hibernation either and not sure what my pagefile is. =/
 
To turn off hibernation:
Open the Start Menu, in the search line, type CMD
Right click CMD icon that comes up and choose "Run as administrator"
Type powercfg -h off and press enter to delete it

To reduce the pagefile:
Open the Start Menu
Right click Computer
Click Properties
Click Advanced System Settings (it's on the left side)
Under performance click Settings
Go to the Advanced tab
Under Virtual memory click Change
Uncheck the "Automatically manage paging file" box at the top
Select the C: drive
Click "No paging file" or set the min and max
Click "Set"
Choose Yes for the dialog box
Click OK
Click OK

Some people stuck 10 years in the past will tell you to disable the pagefile entirely but don't do that. Some people stuck 5 years in the past will tell you to move the pagefile off the SSD but don't do that. When I tested adjusting the pagefile just now on my system with 12GB of RAM, it suggested not setting the pagefile below 800MB so I set it there for min and max.

Reviews of the 120GB Vertex 2 say it formatted to 111GB, so 222GB would be your maximum. That guide claims you can get the Win7 folder down to 7.4GB but my own Win7 folder is 16GB at the moment.
