just came up on a qx6850 and im going to be upgrading my mobo and such accordingly so i wanted to see about a water cooling system for it and my 8800 want something thats gonna work well between 100-200$. going to be upgrading to a qx9650 in a couple months also so want to make sure itll still be enough with moderate to extreme oc on both

100-200$ is a bit tiny for a budget. A good setup is more like around 300$ especially when you want to cool the 8800 in the mix.
For moderate to extreme overclocking, this is a good setup :
D-Tek Fuzion CPU block.
Thermochill PA120.3
MCP355 with Petra's top (DDCT-01s)
Swiftech MicroRes
7/16" Masterkleer tubing
As for the 8800, there is 2 choices : Full cover block like a EK FC8800 or FC88 depending which flavor of 8800 we are talking or a GPU-only block like a Swiftech MCW60 with ramsinks (Enzotech BMR-C1 as example with good adhesion). You can also leave it on air and upgrade when your budget allow it since a cpu/gpu loop as suggested cost about 500$ in total with a full cover block.
