Upgrading RAM

I bought these sticks of RAM a long time ago which is rated at 1600Mhz 9-9-9-24. I realize this is kind of slow compared to most people's timings.

I was looking at these Mushkin sticks which are rated 6-8-6-24. I'm wondering if I would be able to notice any difference if I upgraded. Would I get more stable overclocks or anything?
 
No way. Keep the old ram. If it floats your boat see if the old ram will run at the timings you desire. Also remember that any ram over 1066MHz is overclocking the memory controller in the i7.
