Upgrading my video card

I just upgraded everything in my system aside from my video card which is an nvidia gts250.

My current specs are i7 930, and 6 gigs of ddr3 ram. Can anyone point me in the direction of some video cards I should be looking at? I play tons of games, and definitely want to run them at maxed settings. My price point is around $250
