I've finally ordered a 1400x1050 LCD for my 12" PowerBook. It will require quite a bit of modding to work, but it will nearly double its pixel count. When I finish installing it, I'll post back with my maximum refresh rate overclock (currently at 100Hz with the stock 1024x768 LCD).

Neato. If I had the know how (or time), I would try something on my Acer E11. As much as I love it, jumping between my desktop's IPS panels and what I presume is a series of 90's nokia phone screens duct taped together with a TN sticker on it does take away from the experience.
