I was wondering the best long term choice. Im also wondering when considering overclocking which is the better of the 2. I remember reading the 670 overclocking near 680 performance. So I wonder how well does the 680 overclock, specifically the FTW models.

Im looking at the Evga 670/680 FTW models currently. Ive also seen some deals on the Superclocked models as well at either same price or just a bit more.

670 ftw $369-$20MIR= $349 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...-_-na-_-na-_-na&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

680 ftw $458 http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0083Y6MWK/?tag=pcpapi-20

Any and all feedback appreciated.

i have a 670 FTW LE overclocked to match a stock 680s performance and probably a little faster. i cant say how fast a 680 is when overclocked since i dont own one but to give you an idea just add 10% to all the benchmarks of stock 680s and your in the ballpark of a superclocked or FTW edition

The 680 is a little faster but not $100 worth of faster. If you can swing the extra $100, that would be the one cause I believe you should get as much horsepower as you can afford. If $100 is a little much, the 670 is just about perfect at 1920x1080.

Thx for the feedback, I just found a similar post to mine. http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1697920

I think I have my answer, the 670ftw. Im still considering the 680 if I can find any good reason for it.

Just what I was thinking. I stream on Twitch so Im wanting the best perfomance and I know of a few streamers who also use the 670ftw...I just wanted to spend my money wisely.

Thx for your feedback guys. :)

Yeah, the 680 is faster but it isn't faster enough to justify a 30% price premium.
