Upgrading Highpoint card question

So...im running out of room on 4 x2tb HDD.
I have a HighPoint RocketRaid 2310 4x 2tb WD Black, all drives are JBOD
Im going to get a 2320 8 sata ports. can i just migrate them over, set the discs up as jbod and be on my way? Or...does setting them as jbod on a new controller wiped the data?

Just moving the disks and not touching anything else should be fine. Drive configuration is saved on the drives, not on the controller. If you actually start messing with the drives in the controller settings, you may lose data. But you don't need to.
