1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gami? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Heavy gaming, video encoding, web browsing

2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
$1000 USD shipping and tax included

3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.
Marion, Ar

4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
I need the following: cpu, mono, ram, and one hdd for games

5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
I have the following: corsair 800d, corsair hx 1000, evga 670 ftw, 2 Kingston hyperX 128gb ssds, and h100 also have a Samsung DVD burner
6) Will you be overclocking? Yes. Start light and work my way up.

7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it? 24" 1920x1080 and a second monitor just for extra desktop space

8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC? Will be ordering within the next two weeks

9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video (as a backup or main GPU)? UEFI? etc. SLI, 6gb/s, uefi doesn't really matter
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit? I have W7 64 bit pro. Contemplating on W8

Leaning towards i5-3570k, MSI mpower z77, WD 1tb black, and 16gb avexir mpower ram.

Thoughts. Opinions. Anything I miss?

Thanks

With the exception of the RAM, looks ok. Avexir is relatively new so not sure of their customer support or quality. I'd stick with Corsair or G.Skill.

Thanks! I'll look at either corsair vengeance it gskill sniper.

You might also consider the 3770k if max encoding speed is important to you.

The 3570k will be fast, but the i7 is even faster. But it probably won't benefit you in games.

Any advantages of Dominator vs vengeance? Never mind about ram drive.
