Hello.

Currently using a Dell 2007WFP which I had to take apart to locate a bloated capacitor. I'm looking for a second monitor in the meanwhile. Here's what I'm looking for:

- 24in preferably 16:10 ratio; (will I notice the loss in height going from a 20 - 24 but in a 16:9 ratio?)

- Primarily used for gaming (but I'm not a competitive gamer, so sacrificing some best in class specs for good colour out of the box would be a plus)

- I'm not picky about panel type. The Dell2007WFP was a S-IPS and to be honest not much to complain about except blacks/contrast/colour accuracy

- Budget is $400 with some flexibility

- Quality is important. My Dell 2007WFP has been with me for 8 years, no issues, no dead pixels and with the capacitor fix, should be up and running again.

Update 1
Here's what some of my research has pulled up so far as picks:

Dell U2414H - 16:9 aspect ratio. As above will I miss the height going from a 20in to 24in?

Asus PA248Q - There's a review for the 8Q on tft...Is the Asus PA249Q a direct upgrade? It's wide gamut. Will this be problematic for a non pro user?

HP ZR2440w

Dell U2412M

Eizo EV2336

Benq BL2411PT

HP Z24i
