Upgrading from a 3850 256MB

Wanting to spend maybe 130 at the most. What will get me the most power for the price. Something like the 5750? or maybe some nvidia card?
 
If your budget is only 130 tops you more than likely won't find a decent nvidia card. I would recommend checking the fs/ft thread and see if you can snag a 5770/4870/4890. You may be able to find one of those three in your price range.
 
Yeah, 5750, but as unexcited as people seem to be about it, the 5750 would be a huge upgrade for you. Rough performance increase of the 5750 over the 3850 is double. In games utilizing AA, the increase is much higher. Also, in games where you are memory-limited, the upgrade would be phenomenal.

One recommendation: don't cheap-out and go 512MB. If you do that, the card will be outdated just as quickly as your 3850 256MB model was.
