I'd like to improve my gaming performance, first and foremost. I currently run a 3700+ with 2 GB RAM, a 7900 GTX, and a good PSU. I don't want to go SLI though, given the cost-to-benefit.
Is it time for me to upgrade everything and go DC? (I've been toying with a E6300). Would I see much difference? I feel that my GTX is currently bottlenecked a bit by the CPU ...

Thanks!

what speed is that proc running at?
if you are talking speed to dollars your best bet is to get a decent x2 or opteron overclock it and wait till amd answeres intel.
