Upgrading from 7600GS and need some help

So I've got me a (PCI express) 7600GS, 256MB.
Also, a Core 2 Duo 6300, and 1GB of PC2-5300.

The little guy has done pretty well the past few months, but Supreme Commander just came out, and I don't want to be running it at 400x300 with 16 colors.

I've got about $200 to spend, and it looks like the ATi x1950 is my best bet.
But frankly, I haven't been keeping up on videocard news, so I'd really appreciate some help.

Also, I only have one PCI-E slot, so no SLI or crossfire suggestions please : )

Yup, x1950 Pro is your best-bet if you've got a hard limit of $200.

If you don't mind spending a little over $200, The x1950 XT is a steal, because it isn't cut-down like the x1950 Pro,

sell the 7600 gs for roughly 80 - 100 which is very do-able.

Then your in the 8800 range and your perma upgraded for months.

I'd really suggest saving the extra cash or waiting until april to see how much the 8600 is going to be
