Upgrading an AGP rig

So i still have this rig that i built a few years back as just a secondary computer for my little bro. But my new rig got stolen when my house was broken into and i dont have the money to build a whole new rig right now so i was going to take that rig and make a few upgrades to it. Its currently running an AMD64 3200+ @ 2.4ghz with a Gig of G.Skill ram. A 550watt PSU. with a nvidia 6600gt agp. So i was going to upgrade the gpu to a HIS Radeon HD4650 AGP card and put a new 500gb sata hdd in it and prolly get another gig of ram. So do you think that i would be able to
Play modern warfare 2 on low or maybe medium-low settings. Cause that more then meets the minimum system requirements as far as cpu and ram and gpu. It actually names the cpu i have in the requirements. This just has to hold me over til i can build a new rig and i dont care if i can turn the settings up hella high on games just want it to be able to run it smoothly at low or medium-low settings. So what do you guys think?
 
Yes, it will play MW2 on at least medium settings, if not better.

MW2 is not that demanding of a game though, and many new games are requiring dual core CPUs. So, your probably off buying a new PC.

I suggest the HD4650 with DDR3 memory if you do decide to upgrade instead of doing a PC overhaul.
 
Yea well like i said i can't afford a new build right now. I got robbed so this is the best I can do for right now. I'm very aware that I would be better off building a new computer and I would love to but it's just not gonna be an option for a few months. Thanks for the info tho
 
I actually did have guns. Got a colt 1911 a romanian AK-47 (semi-auto of course) and a 12-Gauge remmington. But not anymore and obviously I wasn't home otherwise I woulda used one of those guns. And I live in an apartment so i can't have a dog without paying a ridiculous desposit. And now that this happened I'm moving to a better and safer neighboorhood and city. This shit sucks so bad. But whats funny is they didnt take my ps3 wii or xbox369 but they took my sega genisis lol and luckily they didnt take my safe or tv's. But they got the computer and monitor jewelry and my ipod dock. Its like they had a list of certain things they wanted. And amazingly none of my neighbors saw shit. I think it might have been one of my crack head neighbors
