I have an Acer 5515 laptop that comes with the Athlon 2650e cpu at 1.6GHz. Is it possible to upgrade this cpu with relative ease? I cant find any compatible cpu's on newegg. Please help with suggestions, or is it not really worth upgrading?

If you are asking about the ease of actually swapping the CPU, I'd say your best bet would be to post in the Mobile Computing sub-forum. As far as the upgrade actually helping performance that is an older system. You could probably buy a new dual core laptop for ~$500 that would be far better performance in every category. Not worth the upgrade for a marginal performance increase imho. If it's possible to drop in a dual-core CPU then it might be worth it, but only then.
