Upgrading 2.1 speakers.

Let me start off by saying I am a complete noob when it comes to audio.

When I bought my computer 5 years ago , I bought the cheapest , most basic 2.1 speakers I could find (I think they were 15-20$). After a few years my stereo died and I wired the speakers to my 2.1 speakers but of course they didn't play bass because they are unpowered.

I decided enough is enough and I am looking for a new 2.1 setup. My budget is 150$ max. I have an Asus Xonar DG (I fried the onboard) on my PC. Usage will be gaming and music , no movies.

Is there any way to use the speakers on my pc and have them function properly (an amp or something) or do I go for a new set?

I've used a T amp ~$20 and Dayton speakers and liked the sound, a powered sub could be added

When I bought these came with 2amp power supply that hummed when amp was turned up, bought a 6 amp 12volt LCD Monitor power supply for about $8, sounded fine then

I checked my local stores (amazon has crazy shipping to where I live) and the closest I could find was a Dynavox DA-30 which claims 2x15 W RMS @ 4 ohm and 2x10 W RMS @ 8 ohm. I also looked around for my speaker specs and found this. Mine was the CMT CP300 EU model. My speakers are 6 ohm and that's as far as my knowledge goes.

Isn't that amp and the one I found going to be too little for my speakers?

I also found a Koda AV-1300 but I feel it is too powerfull for my speakers.
