Upgrade to GTX 260?

I am selling my 8800 GT KO, once I find a buyer, and I'm wanting to upgrade my video card. To be honest, I prefer nvidia cards (not sure why, just always have...) so I've been looking at the GTX 260.

I haven't paid much attention to the video card scene since I bought the 8800 two years ago, so I'm a bit out of the loop. Is this a wise upgrade, or is there anything in the near future I should be holding out for? I mostly play FIFA and PES, but occasionally will get games like Fallout 3, Mass Effect, and have been thinking about the latest Batman.

Thanks for the help!

About 150-200. I'm hoping to get $75 for my 8800 so I'll be able to put another $100 or so in at that point.

The gtx 260 is a good card but you can probably swing a 275 at this point.

Also if you like the new batman you may want to consider hanging on to the 8800 for physx if your power supply can handle it. I would stay away from the 280 or the 285 at this point because those prices are still way too high.

If you weren't totally set on nvidia I would say wait until later today/tomorrow when the 5700 series is announced and pick up one of those.

I may be open to switching. It'll be a few days before I make a real decision, so we'll see what the 5700 can offer.

Thanks!
