I need to buy some new memory for my system. I have an AMD 2500+ oc'd to a 3200+, and right now im using some 2x256 Geil pc3200. Its not bad, but I need more nad better memory.

Newegg had some Mushkin "222" a while ago that I thought of buying when it was like $250, but now its back up to $320.

So im looking for a gig of pc3200 for around $300 *less is better* with some good timings. Please help me choose!

Its all relative to what you think is good for you. I like the Corsair so check around. Go to zipzoomfly.com and do a search for memory. If you do go Corsair, get the platinum heat spreader as I have heard that the black is not that good (something about black holding in heat more so than platinum, besides its only $1.00 more for the platinum).

I'd love to have 2-2-2 timings but there is a whopper of a price increase and each manufacture has their own testing parameters, i.e, Corsair my rate at 2-3-2-6 where Mushkin may rate the same memory at 2-2-2-6.

From the polls that I have seen, Corsair seems to be the memory, but I am sure that others will disagree which is OK.
 
Well I have Corsair 3200 LLTP, and it does is 6.2.3.2

although I have it at 5.2.2.2, I think taht its really good memory unfortunaltley I cant push it becuase of my crappy mobo:(
 
Your best buy would be Mushkin PC3200 lvl 1 as long as your board doesn't have an issue with it. Mushkin makes the best PCB's and they have great customer service.

It will run 2-3-2-5 no problem. They use CH-5 chips. You can get 1GB for under $250. I payed only $203 for mine a couple weeks ago when RAM was cheap.

Mushkin lvl2 PC3200 is 2-2-2 special is the last one to use the BH-6. And those are even going to be discontinued, so get them fast while their still around
