Hi everyone,

I'm looking to upgrade my video card. My rig is in the sig below. I know that it's pretty old stuff, and that I'm going to be bottlenecked by my CPU, but I don't have the time right now to build something new from the ground up.

I'm happy to game at medium settings, but I would like to play FarCry3.

I run a single monitor at 1680x1050, 120mhz refresh. I prefer not to futz around with OCing right now.

I'm wondering about a used 6870 (though it seems too close in performance to my 5770), 6950/70, new 7850/70, or anything else! All of those are in my price range of 200ish. Anything much above that pricerange is probably overkill anyway.

A 7950 when on special, or a 7870 (tahiti le) should fit your needs.
