Got no response from my other thread but I've done some more reading. Just wondering if there's anythign in here that I should look at changing up. (canadian dollars/retailer so no newegg )

edit: he's already got harddrives, lcd, keyboard/mouse. Basically lookin at doing a vidcard switch to pci-e + new board/cpu. And since I've run into issues with the psu on the sonata 1 (the truepower 380) I suggested a new case or psu to go with the upgrade (450watt in the sonata2)

they've got the canada day sale on right now which is why the x1800xt is dropped to $349 CAD

no dual core? besides that looks fine - you mention HDs etc, but what about cd/dvd burner/drive?

He's got the rest of the PC. Basically he was looking for a mobo/cpu/vid card upgrade and i'm trying to get him a good price/performance on it. I didn't go for dual core for him because the cost for even the cheapeast one puts him at least $200 higher.
