I have now Samsung 2443BW
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824001294
But i wanna play my PC games on a bigger monitor / tv
The graphic card i have now is GTX PNY 285, but in the near future i go for GTX 590
Now, back to the topic :)
Guys, you think is worth to play the pc games on a tv ( 32 / 37 / 42 inch 1920 x 1080 ) ?
Is there a good quality, compared to 1920 x 1200, like my 24" monitor ?
Should i sell my monitor and get a 32" lcd / led tv as a pc monitor ?
What about the Hanns.G HZ281HPB monitor ? Are they any good ?
If i get a 30" monitor, with my actual card, do i have "a chance" to play some games on max details ? :D
Ok, same question, but with GTX 590. Can i use this "monster" card with a resolution 2560x1600 for about 2 years, with max details ( lower AA or AF if i have too ) ?!
I'm very confused what to do. All i want is to play pc games on a bigger monitor or tv.
A bigger tv, let's say 42 / 46 inch, will be better than 30" monitor, for gaming ?
I'm talking about the image quality ...
Please give me some advices.
Thanks in advance.

It's only a modest upgrade from 1080 24 to 1080 27 at normal sitting distances IMHO. The farther back you like to sit - the more the size upgrade is helpful.

Avoid 16:10 monitors for gaming. You get narrower Field of View.

I would go U2711. That is a really good screen and you would definitely notice the difference.

Samsungs new PLS-screen is another really intresting screen but not out there yet. Else check out a TV with low input lag.

Thanks, Oled.
What do you think about browsing the i-net on a tv 32 / 37 / 42 inch ?
Should i keep the monitor, for web browsing and other applications, and get a tv only for movies / gaming ?
I didn't find any infos about Samsung PLS.

Difficult for me to tell whether you will be better with a TV or big monitor. It is so personal what you prefer.

Here is the Samsung thread.
