Ok it is me again.

I am looking to get a new monitor so I can run 3 total.

You're playing at 1920x1080 now. Is the HD 6970 not meeting your needs? If it is, no need to buy a new card.

It seems to be meeting my needs at the moment.
I got the impression from the previous thread that in order to game on 3 I would probably need a beefier card but I see that was for Eyefinity.
Are the drivers for the 7000 series mature enough at this point to consider one of those cards if I wanted to try Eyefinity?

Yes. If you go for Eyefinity, make sure that the monitors are of the same size so that everything looks equal.
 
If you can buy used, a second HD 6970 2GB might be your best if you are willing to gamble with drivers. Otherwise I would aim for two HD 7870 cards. Maybe two HD 7850 2GB cards if they are substantially cheaper.
 
Wow, looks like the 7870's are about 240 a piece and 7850's are 200.
I may need to wait if i need 2 of those.
I will check around here to see if I can find some 6970's for cheap.

If we're talking about a single monitor and single GPU config, your best bet would be the HD 7950 as that's the lowest end AMD GPU that'll provide a noticeable performance over your current HD 6970.

If we're talking about dual GPU configs with Eyefinity, HD 7850 CFX, HD 7870 CFX, and HD 7950 CFX are all great values. It's largely dependent on how much you're willing to spend.

I would not bother with CFX for your 1080P resolution.

I would probably want to try Eyefinity if I get the third monitor.
If I can get away with a single card then I would rather that. Less noise.
 
Well only the 7000 series cards can handle 3 monitors on a single card in Eyefinity. With that being said, you could get a single HD 7950 and connect all three monitors to it; then if you decide you need more performance you can easily add a second HD 7950.

HD 7950 or 7970 are the only two cards I'd recommend for a single GPU eyefinity setup; but do note you'll see noticeable gains running dual GPUs.
 
I think I will look into a 7950. Black Friday is really close so I may just wait to see if I can snag one around that time. I doubt any of those will be on sale though.
 
Back again!
Decided to try and buy the monitor first then the card.
The link for two I have are above.
I need suggestions for the third one.
I want it to have a displayport if possible for my budget.
That is about $275.00 US
Would be nice if it is superslim like the two I have now.
I want tp buy it within the next week or so.
