Not sure if this is the right part of the forum to post in but here's my question. I have a R9 270X Vapor-x with an amd a10-5800k. I was just wondering would it be wiser to upgrade the CPU or GPU first? I have $400 I can spend, and pretty sure it wont be until the end of this month or later until I can have enough to upgrade both. ALSO! If you have a suggestion for the GPU/CPU that would be appreciated as well.

If you want to upgrade your cpu you will also need a new motherboard as all the FX cpu's are socket AM3+ and yours is FM2.

Completely forgot about that. Foolishness. (Haven't used AMD in a while....)

Really OP, just go with an Intel setup. Post this thread in the General Hardware section etc
