I have a Barton 2600, on an Abit NF7-S mobo with a 9600xt @ 580/650 (500/600 stock), 1 gb of ddr333 ram, Audigy 2 ZS, 120 gb SATA drive, etc.

What should i upgrade, or should i even bother upgrading this and just go with an A64 setup? In essence, is this a well balanced system.

Assuming that i have $500 to upgrade, what should i do? Spend or save?
 
Well, the thing is, my video card is holding me back. I can't play modern games at 10x7 at high, no aa/af, so i was thinking of building a new box, cause it don't seem to be any bottlenecks in it.
