Upgrade or wait?

Usually I upgrade every 6 months - 1yr, but due to the recent trend of developers making games for consoles first and porting them to PC second in the past couple of years, I havent seen a reason to upgrade my e6750 and 4890 1GB on my single 24" 1920x1200 setup. But Im getting the upgrade bug again, I want to upgrade but at the same time, is it worth it to just wait till fall when games like Rage, oblivion, deus ex, and battlefield 3... all games that supposedly are gonna take advantage of the current PC hardware? I mean, the system im on the fence on getting right now is a 2500k and 2x6950 2GB(unlocking) but should I just wait till fall for when all these games release and is there a point of doing it now with no games on the horizon? I am upgrading this year, its just when to do it.. now or in the fall. Input is greatly appreciated.
