I'm in the market for some new computer speakers, my cheap pos usb powered speakers aren't cutting it.

I have a 100$ walmart gift card on hand and would like to use it. Kinda interested between the creative labs gigaworks T3 and the corsair sp2500. I'm open to other suggestions as well.
 
If you want a sub, I recommend Swan M50w's
If you are really on budget, the m10's will do quite well also

If you don't need a sub (will still get accurate bass, just not room shaking)
If you are in budget, D1080MkII 08's are great and if you can opt higher
If you can opt a little higher, the M200MKII's are better then the D1080 in mid range and treble (but lack a bit more bass)

The walmart giftcard will not be useable on these speakers, however I recommend that you put the $100 towards something else, and opt ur budget up with speakers that you will be satisfied for quite some time. I will admit, I'm a bit biased towards swan (owned the Mk's and opted for the T200b's) so I know how great they sound, however, I will not know any info on other suggestions, however I would recommend wait for some other suggestions. Audio is subjective.

BTW, personally if you stick with those two choices, I would opt for the corsair sp2500 over the gigaworks T3, they both have good reviews, however, I always think that tweeters and midrange will usually beat a design that combines the two.
 
Corsair if that is what you are limited to. Not bad for the price. You will need to adjust the settings a bit. They will CRUSH what you have now though.
