I've had my U3011 as my primary gaming monitor since 2012, but I've often wondered if I'm missing out on anything more. I absolutely love it and have had no complaints, but....

What would I gain in getting an Acer x34? Or an ASUS ROG? (Or something more?) I really like the 2560x1600 dimensions, and don't really want to downgrade in terms of size. I keep hearing that 144hz monitors are a "you'll never go back" type purchase, though.
