Ok gais I'm upgrading my Gateway.

Should I go with a ti4200, radeon 9600 or quad gtx690's and will my 300w power supply be enough?

I need more vram for my 20g hd also.

Hopefully my p4 @ 2.2ghz won't be a bottleneck.

Thanx

LOL. This brings back memories of me getting into PC gaming. Dad bought a Gateway PC that the guy said was good for gaming. Little did he know it had onboard graphics and only a PCI slot rather then AGP. Oh he upgraded monitors to a 15" LCD lol.

P4 1.8ghz
256mb pc-2100 ram
40gb hdd

Ended up throwing a MX420 PCI into it and another 256mb of ram just so I could play BF1942 on low :/ Had a blast playing Medal Of Honor Allied Assault, Call Of Duty, Command and Conquer Renegade, and IL2 Sturmovik on that gateway...got me into PC gaming

Haha...yeah, I actually "upgraded" my mx440 to a ti4200 so I could run Jedi Outcast at an acceptable frame rate. Those were the days, and it was the beginning of a scary pattern concerning computer hardware.

Toss in a voodoo 2 as well ;)

300W PSU should be good for even more gpu than a ti4200. Maybe get a 4600? Maybe a 9700/9500pro?

I know you have waited awhile, but the gtx 700 series is going to be here ANY MOMENT! I would just keep waiting a little while longer.

MX440 to a 6800GT. The 6800GT also went in the first computer I ever built myself. Going from a Dell to a self built computer was an excellent experience. I also killed that 6800GT with a case bundled "no-brand" 420W PSU. Which was my lesson about picking PSUs.
