Hi

I have a Dell latitude C400 laptop which has a Mini PCI wireless network card. The card is "b" standard so slow.

My wireless router
D-Link AirPlus G DI-524 "54Mbps"

couple of simple questions

Will any mini pci "G" card fit into my laptop?

Will the new card work with the old antenna or will that need updating aswell?

Thanks

I don't beleive the C400 uses the oh so rare type IIIa mini PCI card (type IIIa is physically smaller) so you should be ok if you get say the Intel pro Wireless or similar adapter for the C400. The antennae connections will still be the same. All MiniPCI cards have Hirose connectors. They're just a pain in the ass to snap down is all.
