I'm trying to get some more production outta one of my borgs.

It's a sempron 3000 or some such thing with 1.5 GB ram , windows XP...AGP slot , and a ~350 watt psu.

Upgrading it fully is out. It's too much machine for it's user now. :D

However , it's only running onboard video , so a cheap AGP card would not be outta the question.

I know powercolor makes an AGP version of the ATI HD3650 .
Now , I don't wan't a card that requires 'external power connectors' , the PSU probably won't take it , but the hd3650 does'nt need em to my knowledge.

Does anyone have any experience folding with the GPU2 client and agp cards ?

Is this my best bet for an AGP card or does someone else have more insights ?

Anybody know of any other companies making AGP versions of the hd3650 ?

TYIA
:D

Awesome !!!

Thanks. Newegg was the one place I did'nt check.heh... :D

Yea it's worth it from what I've read.......Mr sempron is only getting ~150 PPD at the best , the 3650 should get into the 1000 PPD range....for 100$ I'll try.
