Updating BIOS with USB Floppy?

My floppy port on my MotherBoard is dead so I have no way to update my BIOS. I am using the P4C800 Deluxe and it needs a floppy to make a backup, so burning to a CD wont do...

Now that I need to update my BIOS I can only think of a USB floppy will this work in DOS?

Has anyone ever updated there BIOS using a zip drive and if so did the bios make its own backup on the zip drive?

When you're done customizing, you open a command prompt, change to the BCD folder and run "bcd clean" to build your ISO image and burn it to your CD writer (if you have one).

How do I burn the ISO?

i upgrade the bios on my m5310 laptop with a usb floppy with no problems

use nero or something that you could burn images with

Yes, you can update your BIOS using a USB floppy...well, you can on the newer Abit boards.

After running into a dead end I tried another floppy drive and another floppy cord and it didn’t work, all in all I tried three floppy cords and two floppy drives all of which worked at some point since I had them.. After being so frustrated I decided to use a friend of mines known working floppy drive and known working floppy cord and it freaking worked. The BIOS is running the latest version but I still can’t overclock any higher which is the main reason I wanted to update the bios is the 1st place. What a day….
