Well, all the fixing is done. They have it to a -70 idle and a -50 load. Nice little upgrade. I cant wait to get the damn thing back. It has been months that I have been without. I hate air cooling. I have actually taken the rig apart because I was sick of the noise. I have been using the 8yr olds rig. It is a ncie little one. 3.2 Intel with a 6600GT in it. So all of my games have been doing well. I also cant wait to get the Vmodded, TEC cooled XT/PE back in my rig.
 
Good luck to you. Seems like you've had bad luck with processors, motherboards, and videocards. Maybe things will go right for you now.
 
Talk about man..My main rig has not been up and running (correctly) for almost 3 months now...it blows.
 
wow, those are nice temps!

I just picked up a Vapo LS and am setting it up right now. I'm already getting -51c idle and it keeps dropping! Woot!

Next stop: Viperjohn XTPE

2Fresh, question for you: Is your A64 3500 a winnie and have you had the cold boot problem? I'm currently running the vapo on my intel platform, but I'm going to do a shootout in a few days to see if I go intel or amd.

BTW, I'm going to be on a Neo2 Plat and the winnie should be a recent build because I just bought it.
 
Newcastle. I hav enot heard of that prob, though.
I know the winnie has a problem with sub zero temps, as to why I went NC.

sub zero boot is the same problem i was referring to above actually

I'm going to try a winnie soon on my LS, but I'm thinking it might be better to just return the cpu
 
There is a patch out for the bios on the Neo2 for the problem of the booting issue.
