My other thread is at the bottom of this page, but I thought I'd repost an update. Well, after some fiddling, I've gotten my system(so far) to be stable at 2.2 Ghz. I went in the Bios and fiddled with my timings. Here's my settings(since I can't seem to get a screen shot):
CPU @ 2.2Ghz @ 1.55V
Mem @ 220Mhz @2.7 V
Temp @ ~30C
I ran SisSandra(??) and my mem bench marks were 3064 Int buffered and 3076 float buffered. Like I said, I went in and changed my Cas from 3 to 2.5 and my benchmarks went up to 3371 and 3374 respectively. So far my comp appears to be stable. I did see the HT multi in the bios but not sure I want to mess w/it. It's at 4X right now. Also, when I try to run 3DMark, I get this error: "DIRECT3D DEVICE9: CREATPIXELSHADER failed:INVALID CALL(D3DERR_INVALID CALL)" and it won't run. Anyone know what that means?
Sorry for the long read  .
PS. When you guys say "loosen the RAM timings", do you mean, raise the number(like from 2.5 to 3) or lower the number(3 to 2.5)?

you could have just posted in your other thread, it bumps the topic back up to the top... lol

LOL! Yeah I know, but I thought everybody was tired of reading that post already! Sorry if I broke board "etiquette".:(

when u loosen timings, u raise the number, tighten, lower the number
Wow, that's weird then cause I went from a cas 3 to a 2.5 and my computer seems to be running good so far. Like I said, the highest I'd been able to go was 2.15 Ghz before it became unstable.
Any opinions on why 3D Mark won't run?
