Folks,

How do I find what my current chipset driver is? I'm using the mobo listed in the subject (Gigabyte x470 Aorus Gaming 7 wifi).

In order to update my BIOS, I've got to first update my chipset driver. Here are some screenshots:

Notice the instruction in the above BIOS download listing to update the chipset?

2

Above is my System Devices list. One of these should be the chipset, right?

Above, is the downloaded chipset update software, extracted. Digging into the "pack" gives me...

...this ^^^. I assume (gah!) I just run the InsUpd application???

Thanks for the assist.

Okay, I'll grab amd's latest...but which of that long friggin' list of system devices is my actual chipset???

Intel at least labels it. I've clicked on most of those (that make sense), selected "Properties/Driver" and none of the driver version numbers is even close.
