A friend has advised me to stay clear of updating my BIOS. I have an older Shuttle Reflexion XPC. I'm wondering if I will run into trouble loading any drivers for Video etc.. if I do not update my BIOS. If updating is advised should I get the update from Shuttles download page or from Intel?

Is updating your BIOS relatively easy and safe?

You only need to update your BIOS if theres a CPU you need to use that isnt supported by your current BIOS, or the new BIOS has an updated feature you need for some reason.
