i guess my wife can keep her legs :)
well, seems it was only motherbaord that needed to be replaced.
as of now the graphics card seems to be working, though ive only let it run for about 5 minutes because the cpu usage kept jumping up like crazy so, trying to get that figured out.

just glad coke spill didnt take out the gpu, it was brand new xfx hd 5850 (the $340 one)
so glad i wont have to replace it.
