Up(down?)grade from a 37" westy

Well, my westy is starting to show some age, and its about time to upgrade.

Im sure theres some users on here who have done the same, and the reason im asking for opinions is pretty simple: Once you have a giant ass fucking beast of a monitor, anything smaller is just dissapointing to say the least. I tried a 24" wide, but switched back after about a month of use, i just couldnt get use to it. Anyone here experience the same and find bliss? which monitor did you end up going with?

Ive been looking at eyefinity, but im not completely sold on that yet.

A 30 inch screen will give you a lot more pixels in a smaller size. This means you would have to move closer to the screen, but once you do that you will see more detail in the same field of view. You will be more productive, because you will be able to put more stuff on the same screen.

I would not go bigger than 30 inches for anything but movies.

Thanks, moving closer wont be a problem, i sit in front of my westy from about 2 and a half feet. Ill check some of the 30's out, what are the nicer 30's?
