Well, I bought the Big Water cooling kit from thermal take today and got it installed. I must say I wasn’t to please with the quality of the parts. One of the filler nipples for the pump was broken off when I got. But I just went out and got some cool epoxy putty and sealed that puppy up. Other then that here is my set up, Dropped my temps 10c running a LGA775 3.4. Idles at 40c and load is at 50c

I think I should of spend more money at got a nicer setup, but this was my frist try and it only cost 100 bucks =/.

I must admit I'm pleased with the performance though, It exactly at the temps the reviewers got.

I dont got every are nicely put up yet =/ I'll do that later.

i got a Kingwin Arctic Liquid cooling kit for 80 some bucks a few months ago...and this thing friggen rocks...my a64 v1.5 2.0ghz 25c idle and 38c load....and when it's at v1.6 2.4Ghz it's 28c idle and 45c load.....not bad i would say...but i'm surprised that yours isn't very cool...your intel chip should run alot cooler than my amd right?

not at all... intels are quite wasteful of heat, particularly the prescotts... consider this nifty little bit:

intel pentium 4 3.2ghz, northwood core... 82w
intel pentium 4 3.2ghz, prescott core... 150w!!
 
so LGA775 are prescotts...forgive me if it sounds n00bish...i used to be into intel...but just kinda phased into amd..lol and my s754 3000+ is an 89w i believe...

i paid over $300 for my koolance setup, cpu/nb/gpu. i get low-mid 40C load temps, thats not bad performance considering that it only costs $100. and now since you have experience with watercooling systems youll be more confident next time around and youll probobly make a custom cooling setup.

Where did you get those figures?
 
your prescott 150w is wrong. it is actually around 100w idle, and 125-130w load (that is the 3.6ghz version).
 
Prescott 3.2ghz are not 150W

s478 versions are 103W
lga775 versions are 84W

thats directly from intel spec sheets.
