Untangle 5.1 recently came out.
Much wider range of supported hardware
Throughput increased
other stuff.....

Shortly there will be an "upgrade" method available for those who have setup 5.0x version running in production already. Current 5.1 download is a clean new install only.

Hmmmm, perhaps I'll give Untangle a shot again. I had some issues getting static routes working on the last version when in bridge mode....

Never heard of it, checked it out.

For the cost you can run Smoothwall and mod it with the features you want, for free. :)

2x totally different animals...Untangle is a full blown UTM appliance (unified threat management)...to compare other *nix distros...would include Endian, and IPCop with the Copfilter add-on.

It's a whole lot more than other more basic ones like Smoothie, m0n0wall, PFSense, etc.
