• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.

Maybe I'm getting old, but I recall there being an "Unsubscribe from this thread" button on the thread tools. You can still remove subscriptions by deleting them from your sub folder, but the thread tools button was handy. "Subscribe to this thread" appears even if you already have a subscription.

Not really a big deal, but it didn't strike me as something that would have been intentionally removed; but more likely it just disappeared when another change was made.

Thanks

I seem to remember it, too. Maybe they just tweaked it to consolidate, so "Subscribe to this thread" is supposed to change to "Unsubscribe" but they forgot to change the display text?

^^Yeah, I tried just clicking it, and it kept the subscription, so the functionality is gone along with the text.

Go in the User CP, click the check box next to thread you want to unsubscribe from and click delete.

Lest I start one of "those" threads here, I'm closing pending an admin response if they wish to leave one. ;)

You're not imagining things. It's a little "oopsie" bug in the version of vBulletin we're running (3.6.4). It was fixed in 3.6.6. You can read about it over at vBulletin's site.

I know Kyle implements any pertinent security patches that are released, but [H] is pretty heavily tweaked, so doing a complete upgrade for every incremental release (which generally cover only minor bugs) is not really practical.

So you'll just have to live with it for now. Like hity645 said, you can go into your user control panel to delete subscribed threads. :)
